Op 15 april 2010 stopt Microsoft met de Xbox Live Services voor de eerste generatie Xbox Consoles en Games, ook voor de Xbox 1 Games die speelbaar zijn op de Xbox360 Console.

De reden voor het stop zetten van de Live Services voor de Xbox 1 heeft Microsoft nog niet heel duidelijk gegeven.

Het lijkt erop dat Microsoft nieuwe functies wil ontwikkelen en dit nu beperkt wordt door de eerste generatie Xbox consoles.
