Vanavond om 19:00 verspreidt Microsoft een urgente update

Microsoft brengt vandaag een patch uit voor een lek wat door Microsoft als 'Kritiek'  geclassificeerd is voor Windows 2000, Windows XP en Windows 2003 Server. Voor Windows Server 2008 en Vista is de lek als 'Belangrijk' geclassificeerd.

De updates zijn vanavond vanaf 19:00 uur Nederlandse tijd beschikbaar via Windows Update.

Inmiddels is er meer bekend over het lek, het lek  zit in het Windows Server Service, dit gedeelte kan misbruikt worden als de firewall uitgeschakeld is of ingeschakeld met File/print share actief.
