Patch With March macOS Updates: Vulnerabilities May Expose Restricted Information, Enable Arbitrary Code Execution

Following Apple's March release of patches, Trend Micro reported two of the discovered vulnerabilities. Left unpatched, these macOS flaws can be used by attackers in escalating admin privileges to access restricted information or open systems to attacks.

January Patch Tuesday: First Bulletin of 2019 has Fixes for DHCP and Microsoft Exchange Vulnerabilities

Microsoft starts off 2019 relatively smoothly with 49 security patches and two advisories — seven of these vulnerabilities were rated Critical and 40 were Important. Ten of these were disclosed through the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) program.

Valse alarm meldingen over geheugen in vCenter 4.0

VMware heeft een Patch uitgebracht voor de ''valse' meldingen in vCenter 4.0 over het geheugen gebruik van VMs.
In vCenter lijkt het erop dat een VM al zijn geheugen gebruikt, maar kijk je in de VM (binnen het guest OS) dan gebruikt deze dit niet.
Dit probleem doet zicht voor op ESX4 hosten die draaien op Intel met EPT of op AMD systemen met RVI.

De fix kan via vCenter Update manager worden uitgerold of de patch downloaden en handmatig op de ESX 4.0 hosten uitrollen.
